Navigating the map

To pan: left-click on the map and drag.
To zoom: Drag the vertical slider on the left of the map, use the mouse wheel or hold down the Shift key and drag a rectangle.

Using the time slider

Drag the minimum and maximum date tabs to view only earthquakes between (and including) these two dates. Use the Play, Pause, Next and Previous buttons to navigate along the time slider.

Get earthquake details

Left-click on an earthquake to return more details of that earthquake.

Show map key

Click on the 'Map Key' button to display a key for the earthquakes data.
